Hi!

I’m a freelance writer based in Los Angeles.

My background is in creative writing (Duke University), comedy (Funny Or Die, Comedy Central’s @midnight), and sometimes relatedly, shelter dogs (Angel City Pit Bulls).

WHAT I DO

I write treatments for commercial directors. I’ve been doing this since 2015. I’m also available for branded pitches, scripting, and punch ups on projects of any length. My first love is comedy (if you need alts, call me) but I work across all genres including narrative, doc, beauty, you name it.

One of my favorite parts of this work is building longstanding relationships with the people I work with.

I’m happy to send you samples and current rates upon request.

MORE OFFERINGS: AN EXPERIMENT

I would love to help you craft your writing needs for your personal life or your small business.

This could look like: Creating copy from scratch and/or editing and reshaping existing writing.

We’d have a conversation about what you are looking for, what’s important to you, and I’ll get a sense of your voice. I’ll jam on copy, then we can do a round of revisions if needed.

Examples: Finally updating your website copy. Getting that newsletter out for your small biz. Having a few blog posts or social media captions in the can. Other organizational communications. Updating your “About Me” page or bio in a way that doesn’t make you want to throw up. Maybe you’ve never looked at your LinkedIn. Dare I even suggest - let’s talk about your Hinge prompts, babes. Let’s sell that couch on Facebook Marketplace. Real estate listings? The options are endless.

I don’t claim to be an expert in anything except for loving my dog. Prices for this experiment will be determined by scope and your overall budget, and I am open to trade/barter when it makes sense. With these offerings I hope to test out small jobs with meaningful connections and provide you a living, breathing alternative to ChatGPT or a true rando on those weird gig working platforms.
